The Edgmont Township Business and Professional Association was created to establish a liaison between the business community, the Township, and the residents. To improve and promote the unique character of the community of Edgmont Township as a place to live, work and raise a family.
Our primary vision is to demonstrate that our community of business leaders, professionals, and residents are served by unique, sensational, and renowned shopping, dining and entertainment venues, as well as the availability of many highly rated professional services. We hope to foster growth, neighbor to neighbor while creating and raising awareness of professional relationships in Edgmont.
If you are a business that resides or works within the Township and are interested in being a part of the ETBPA please contact us!
Edgmont, the Township, took its name from a town in Shropshire, England called “Edgmond” (hence the one ‘e’). Edgemont, the Post Office, either took its name carelessly from the township or created it’s own name as being at the Edge of Chester and Delaware Counties? The state charters for the township show one ‘e’ and for the post office shows two ‘e’s, so it would take a legislative act by the state to change one or the other…..
Is anyone interested in writing some legislation?
